Love is in the air at Farm Sanctuary! In our Animal Photo of the Week, a tender moment between loyal friends Sailor and Summer is shared – nearly resulting in the formation of a heart. Coincidence? We think not! These two happy California Shelter residents found refuge with us in 1999 after being abandoned when a child’s 4-H project came to an end. More than a decade later, their love for one another endures, proving just how deep the bonds between farm animals run.
