Very excited to be participating in my 5th Walk and can't wait to see the NYC crowd. This past weekend the Hoe Down encouraged me to go a step further and be more assertive in my fund-raising efforts. Hoping to increase my fundraising efforts by $200 and raise $1000 this year. I know I can do it...and will do it for the animals.

Gene Baur, President and Co-founder of Farm Sanctuary

Gene grew up in Hollywood, California and worked in commercials for McDonald's and other fast food restaurants. He adopted a vegan lifestyle in 1985, and today, he campaigns to raise awareness about the negative consequences of industrialized factory farming and our cheap food system.
